UF Habitat for Humanity

If you attend the University of Florida, we invite you to join the student-run club to enjoy socials, educational events and upcoming builds!

The Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter at the University of Florida builds homes in the Gainesville and Alachua County area every Saturday, while simultaneously raising awareness around campus about the importance of eliminating poverty housing around the world.

UF Habitat invites all fellow Gators to volunteer with them, regardless of prior experience. No tools or experience are required - just the willingness to learn and to lend a hand! As a non-dues organization, volunteers are free to come and go as they please.

UF Habitat hosts fundraisers at least once per semester to raise money for homes built here in Alachua County, in hurricane-affected areas and anywhere else it can lend a hand. Those who are unable to work Saturdays on the construction site are encouraged to participate in the fundraisers and other activities. UF Habitat hosts a Silent Auction fundraiser in the fall and a 5K Race in the spring.
