Bryan Builders Sponsors Their Second Home

Alachua Habitat for Humanity and Bryan Builders Break Ground for the Johnson Family, Joined by Florida Gators Football Student-Athletes

Gainesville, FL – The Johnson Family is about to mark a significant milestone on their journey to homeownership, and the community is warmly invited to join in on the celebration. The groundbreaking ceremony is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 at the construction site located at 657 NE 16th Terrace, Gainesville, FL 32641. The event will feature representatives from Alachua Habitat for Humanity, Bryan Builders, the Johnson Family, and special appearances including Florida Gators Football student-athletes Graham Mertz (Quarterback), Montrell Johnson Jr. (Running Back), and Jason Marshall Jr. (Cornerback).

Corenda, a devoted single-mother of three (ages 12, 4, and 2) is thrilled about her new home. A Gainesville native, Corenda returned to the Swamp after high school and currently works as a Medical Assistant at HCA North Florida. She is thrilled about the prospect of a peaceful and organized home for her family, marking a significant step toward stability and comfort.

Stevie Doyle, the Executive Director of Alachua Habitat for Humanity, conveyed her enthusiasm for the Johnson family. Speaking on the upcoming construction, Doyle mentioned, "We could not be more grateful for our incredible sponsor, Bryan Builders, and for this collaboration with Florida Victorious. Student-athletes from different Gator sports teams will be actively involved in constructing this home, creating lasting memories for Corenda’s children."

The public is warmly invited to share in this special event, witnessing the community coming together to build hope and homes.
