Home Dedication for Tammy Flair
Tammy’s Dream Home: Alachua Habitat to Dedicate New Build Funded by Local and Statewide Sponsors
Gainesville – Alachua Habitat for Humanity is honored to invite the community to celebrate the dedication of a new, affordable home for future homeowner, Tammy Flair. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at 1521 NE 6th Place, Gainesville, FL 32641.
This dedication marks the culmination of Tammy’s hard work and commitment through Alachua Habitat’s homeownership program. In addition to attending financial literacy classes, Tammy has contributed hundreds of hours of sweat equity, working alongside volunteers and Habitat staff to help build her home.
The construction of Tammy’s home was made possible through the generous support of several partners and sponsors, including Alachua Habitat’s February fundraiser Hall of Framers 2025, Florida Housing Finance Corporation, the City of Gainesville Down Payment Assistance Program, the Florida Realtors® Homeownership for All License Plate Grant, TD Bank Foundation, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and the Florida Blue Foundation.
“We are thrilled to celebrate with Tammy and all those who helped bring this home to life,” said Kristine Thompson, Interim Executive Director of Alachua Habitat for Humanity. “Each home dedication is a powerful example of what our community can achieve when we come together in support of affordable housing.”
The event will include brief remarks from Habitat staff and community partners, a special message from Tammy, a blessing of the home, and a ceremonial key presentation.
All community members and media are welcome to attend.
